Times Table Rockstars is a fun, interactive online programme that helps children learn and practise their times tables through games, challenges and quick-fire activities. It turns maths into an exciting experience, motivating children to improve their speed and accuracy while building confidence in a key area of the maths curriculum. Your children had fun looking into this platform on our launch day recently.

At St Paul’s, Times Table Rockstars (TTRS) is an important part of our maths learning from Year 1 to Year 6. Every child has their own login, which should be in their reading record or spelling record. If you are unable to find your child’s login, please speak to their class teacher, who will be happy to help.

TTRS has now replaced physical maths homework, and we encourage all children to engage with it regularly at home. Short, frequent practice makes a huge difference to their confidence and fluency.

Daily use of Times Table Rockstars supports children across the entire maths curriculum. Multiplication, division and pattern-spotting underpin so many mathematical concepts, so becoming fluent in times tables helps children succeed in a wide range of areas—from number and place value to fractions, reasoning and problem-solving.

The platform is particularly valuable in preparing pupils for the Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check, giving them a fun, motivating and effective way to build speed and accuracy.
